SMALL BATCH ALMOND JOY COOKIES 😍 OMG DONT


 

Components:


1 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour (2 tablespoons + 1 cup)

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 stick (1/2 cup) softened butter

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

1 egg

1 and 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

1 cup shredded coconut (sweetened coconut flakes)

3/4 cup sliced almonds

Instructions:


Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).


In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.


Using a mixer, cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.


Add the egg and vanilla essence, mixing until fully combined.


Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.


Stir in the chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and sliced almonds.


Using a 1 1/2 tablespoon scoop, drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets.


Bake for 9 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.


Transfer the cookies to cooling racks after 10 minutes.
