What You Need:
1/2 cup of pecans, chopped
butter, unsalted, 7 tablespoons
1/4 cup of sugar, granulated
1/2 cup of dark sugar
Two eggs
1/4 teaspoon of pure vanilla essence
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
salt, just a sprinkle
Half a pecan for topping each cookie
A Recipe Guide:
Prepare two baking sheets by covering them with parchment paper and heating the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Use an electric mixer to combine the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and butter until the mixture is creamy and light.
Add the eggs and vanilla essence, and beat for an additional two minutes.
Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until well incorporated.
Use a medium spatula to transfer balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
Top each cookie with half a pecan.
